Once Upon a Time pt4As Scorch was making his way onto the shore, away from the water, he turned around, laid on his gasp, and just wanted to pass out from sheer exhaustion.
But, not before seeing air bubbles hitting the top of the water and at the same time, dreading that the villainous beast was not about the emerge from the pond.
Once more, gathering the smallest bits of strength, Scorch stood up and was ready to deal the final blow that would not only end the life of the Dreaded-One, but end this mission.
Just as the tension was rising, the only thing that popped up was a small fish that just happened to jump out of the pond and back in.
Completely relived and hopeful knowing that the deed was done and completed, Scorch fell backwards on his back and passed out so quick, he did not know he fell into a deep sleep. He slept so long, he had nearly forgotten to get back up and report back to the King. Well rested and happy with the finishing/completion of the mission, Scorch was well and able to fly back d
Once Upon a Time pt3The legs hit the ground so hard; the shockwave was almost too fast for Scorch to dodge.
Lucky enough for Scorch, that he was able to grab on and swerve around on a pillar high above the peak of the wave. Safely back on the ground, Scorch was quick to make sure that he moved to another safe distance before accessing what to do next.

Scratching and biting so hard, it had to been felt though the thick hide. Not one to back down, D-O, he threw off Scorch from the back so hard, that Scorch had to curve around in the room in the air to land back down even close to a foot away from D-O. As the battle continued, Scorch was ho
Once Upon a Time pt2But, Scorch was not worried, for he trains very hard and long to be sure to handle any situation that he came across. The next day, rested and packed, Scorch started heading out East from the village to a cloud-high mountain that would seem tiny by comparison when seen from a distance. In order to reach this tower, Scorch would have to walk for three days and four nights; making sure to be on his guard every time he made camp. After trekking for days, he would see this towering mountain that would go on for miles. Unlike most mountains, this one would have no entrance. No visible signs of any large holes for getting inside. Flying would be the only option was the surrounding features are too sharp and unstable to climb. Making sure to be in full fighting form, Scorch would stop every mile and a half or so to be sure to catch his breath and gather back his strength.
Eating whatever food he had left so he can still have the strength to fight.
At the peak of the mountain, would stand a ve
